The 4 units below have been combined into this THREE WEEK RESOURCE GUIDE that any school can use. However, we thought some educators may be curious to see the evolution of Project F.A.C.T.S. and how we incorporated the curriculum into our 26 minute advisory program while discussing other important topics like attendance and grades.
April 2025: F.A.C.T.S and Vax
The school engaged in a 4 week advisory study on the vaccinations and misinformation, and the unit culminated in a symposium where experts spoke on the topic. The first unit topic was selected by the principal because she believed not only was was the topic relevant to the mission of the school, but also relevant to current events.

April 2026: Voting
10 juniors began the new chapter of Project FACTS at KHSA, and selected "voting" as a topic to explore. Together, they brainstormed ideas, and decided to implore their fellow classmates to care about voting, and to be critical of how algorithms play a role in political ads online. The juniors in Project FACTS traveled to the University of Pennsylvania to talk to graduate students about their ideas.
